2. Unitree Robotics unveils its new robot that dances, walks up stairs and sets new speed record.

Chinese company Unitree Robotics has released a video showcasing its new H1 Evolution V3.0 humanoid robot, which can walk, dance, and walk at 3.3 m/s, setting a new world record.

The H1 robot, which weighs 47 kg and can carry up to 30 kg, has five degrees of freedom of movement on its legs and four degrees of freedom for its arms. It uses Intel RealSense D435i depth measuring camera and Livox MID-360 360° lidar for real-time data analysis.

The fine is based on Apple’s application of anti-steering provisions, which restrict music streaming apps from promoting cheaper offers outside the App Store. The penalty represents 0.5% of Apple’s worldwide turnover and prohibits Apple from applying anti-steering provisions on any iOS app.

10. AI fraud detection software maker Inscribe.ai lays off 40% of staff

Inscribe, an AI-powered fraud detection software provider, has cut nearly 40% of its staff, resulting in dozens of employees. The move follows another round of layoffs at plagiarism detector Turnitin. Inscribe’s board recommended the cuts as the current market led the startup to miss its revenue goals for over a year.

 

The company’s CEO and co-founder, Ronan Burke, attributed the decision to AI advances in the financial services industry, which presented opportunities for improved customer experiences, more efficient processes, and fairer decisions.
